The UBS Greek New Testament is more user-friendly than the Nestle-Aland and is usually the choice of Bible translators, students, and pastors. User-friendly features of the UBS GNT include fewer words on the page, larger fonts, English subject headings, Old Testament quotations in bold, and only the most important cross references listed.

Nestle-Aland 28th Edition

The Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, formally titled “Novum Testamentum Graece,” is a widely recognized scholarly edition of the Greek New Testament, first published in 1898 by the German theologian Eberhard Nestle, who combined the best aspects of existing editions by Tischendorf, Westcott/Hort, and Weymouth, creating a hybrid text by choosing the reading supported by two of the three whenever they differed; this approach aimed to avoid bias towards any single manuscript tradition and provide a more balanced text.
